The landascape is amazing and many interesting building could be visited. With the help of the guide you will understand how the ancient mills of the area worked and the importance of the water as energy source.

Outside the woodland we will find out and ancient monumental vineyard with the typical dry stone wall.

How we usually manage the day Leonardo da Vinci hike

We suggest to organize the group in order to be ready for the hiking in the start point at 9-10 AM. For this hiking the group could chooses whether the packed lunch or lunch at restaurant. The start point is in Vinci where many good restaurant can serve lunch with typical food and drink. On the other hand the packed lunch is more versatile and could be eat during or after the trail. The trail usually need about 3 hours to be completed.

The trail is almost completely on dirty road, with gravel. We start rising the hill surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Then we enter in the woodland visiting ancient mills. After that we can visit the monumental vineyard.

The trail needs hiking boots, personal water and to be fine.

What to do after the hiking

After the hiking tour the group can visit one of the museum dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci. An other good thing to do is some product tasting in the olive oil mill close to Vinci.
